Have yarn you don't want? Want to update your stash? Come to the Community Yarn Swap at Moonstruck Market in Melbourne, Florida! It will be on April 11th from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 329 Babcock St, Melbourne, FL 32935.
It's time for some spring cleaning! So, bring your unused skeins that have been cluttering up your space, and grab some yarn that speaks to you. Even if you don't have any to bring, feel free to take home some "new to you" yarn!
This event is free to participate in, and open to the public!
ALSO, BRING your crochet granny squares! We will be sewing them together LIVE at the Yarn Swap to create a large Community Crochet Blanket! This blanket will be raffled off and all the proceeds will go to Brevard County Foster & Adoptive Family Association!
This organization is "formed by foster and adoptive families to build community support through awareness, education, and involvement.
They seek to improve morale, seek positive change, and advocate for vulnerable children, and are joining hands with the community to build a supportive, encouraging environment for foster families on Florida’s Space Coast."
